Location Overview: This position is located at our Bartram Crossing facility located on our beautiful 115-acre campus in Bartram Park, Fla. Brooks Bartram Crossing is one of only 19% of U.S. skilled nursing facilities recognized as a Best Nursing Home for 2019-20 by U.S. News & World Report and earned Best Nursing Homes status by achieving a rating of "High Performing," the highest possible rating, for short-term rehabilitation. Position Summary: Administers physical therapy treatments to patients working under the direction of and as an assistant to the Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Functions under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Deliver high quality patient care for multiple rehabilitation diagnoses
- Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
- Effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Promote evidence based patient care
- Current PTA license in state of Florida
- Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience preferred, will consider a new grad
- Knowledge of federal and state professional requirement
Compensation: Experience and education may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
