Role - Snowflake Developer with Admin , Location - dallas / tampa / jersey city Snowflake Developer and Administrator role who combines development tasks with administrative responsibilities for the Snowflake cloud data platform. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions while also managing and maintaining the Snowflake environment. Key Responsibilities: Development:• Data Modeling: Designing and implementing data models to support efficient and accurate reporting and analytics.• SQL Proficiency: Writing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.• ETL Process Development :Developing and optimizing ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.• Data Transformation:Using scripting languages like Python for automating and manipulating data.• Data Pipeline Design: Designing and implementing data pipelines for data migration and processing.• Data Quality:Ensuring data quality and integrity through validation and cleansing processes. Administration:• Environment Management :Managing Snowflake data warehouse environments, including setup, configuration, and monitoring. • Performance Optimization:Tuning Snowflake performance to ensure efficient data processing and querying. • Security and Access Control :Implementing and managing security policies and access controls within Snowflake. • User Management:Managing Snowflake users and roles, granting appropriate permissions. • Data Storage Management :Managing data storage within Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and extraction processes. • Data Retention Policies:Implementing and managing data retention policies and lifecycle management within the platform. • Account Management:Managing settings at the account and organization level, including notifications and user management. • Backup and Recovery:Ensuring data backup and recovery processes are in place.
