About Your Role
As the Warehouse Director you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining efficient workflows, overseeing inventory accuracy, and ensuring that all event rental items are prepared and dispatched accurately and on schedule.

This position is based in our Orlando warehouse, with occasional requirements to oversee operations at event sites throughout Florida and beyond.

What's a Typical Day Look Like?
Your day typically begins at our Orlando warehouse around 7:00 AM. You'll start by reviewing the day's schedule, coordinating with various teams to ensure all event rental items are ready for dispatch, and overseeing the receiving of returned items. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities, from managing inventory levels to coordinating logistics for upcoming events. Flexibility is key, as priorities can shift based on event schedules and client needs.

What You'll Do
Your duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival at event locations; coordinate with drivers and event setup teams.
  • Safety and Compliance: Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols; conduct regular audits and inventory checks.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and overall performance; research and implement new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency.
What We're Looking For
You are an individual who is committed to excellence and possesses the following qualities:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse role; experience in the event rental industry is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer software, including inventory management systems and scheduling tools; forklift certification and experience operating other warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment; proven experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems proactively; analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Must be Bilingual. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
