Respiratory Therapist

Full Time NIGHTS* 12 hour Shifts * 7pm - 7am

Per Diem - All Shifts

Pay Rate up to $45/hr based on experience + $5 Night Shift Differential

St. Margaret's Center, an affiliate of Center for Disability Services, is a pediatric and young adult 94-bed skilled nursing facility, located in Albany, NY. Founded in 1883, St. Margaret's Center is a skilled nursing facility serving medically fragile infants, children, and young adults on a single dedicated campus. We specialize in providing cutting-edge, long-term, 24-hour intensive medical care in a nurturing and home-like setting.

Requirements for a Respiratory Therapist:
  • Must have a broad base of knowledge of respiratory care standards with experience in working with trachs and MR/DD individuals
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree in field of Respiratory Therapy
Responsibilities for a Respiratory Therapist:

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician orders and department policies and procedures. The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care to pediatric and adolescent residents with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
