BASIC DUTIES:
As a Medical Assistant, the ideal candidate will deliver outstanding patient care throughout the entirety of our patients' visits, encompassing:
1. Patient Triage, Registration, and Intakes:
- Efficiently manage patient flow by conducting triage, obtaining patient information, and completing the registration process.
- Gather essential patient data, including medical history, and accurately record it in our electronic health record system.
- Assist healthcare professionals in preparing patients for procedures, including taking vital signs, performing IVs, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring patients' recovery, and addressing any concerns or needs.
- Facilitate a smooth and informed patient release process, providing clear discharge instructions and follow-up care information.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent work experience
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA)
- Bilingual - English and Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of electronic health records (EHR).
- Goal driven. Responsible and accountable; individually and as part of a team.
