Senior Electrical Project Manager - Data Center

IES Commercial, Inc. DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager - Data Center for work in the Midwest.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall management in all phases of construction for one or more data center electrical projects and develop new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients, or geographical area.
  • Manage projects to exceed customer expectations and ensure work adheres to NEC, company safety policies, and OSHA requirements.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts to protect the companys interests while maintaining good client relationships.
  • Lead the project team to ensure delivery meets client and IES expectations.
  • Perform takeoffs, price change orders, and project-related quotes.
  • Collaborate with the Project Executive to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
  • Work required to be performed at the project site; travel is required.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects ($20-$100M), including mission-critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Data Center experience is required; hyperscale Data Center experience preferred.
  • Valid Electrical License at Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed understanding of electrical estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project tracking.
  • Detailed understanding of billing and financial reporting.
  • Business knowledge of vendors in the electrical construction industry.
  • Proficient in Accubid, Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, P6, and other industry-standard software.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check.
