Quality Engineer - South Bend, IN (Urgent Hire)
Onsite | Full-Time | Copper and Brass Sales (thyssenkrupp Materials, NA)

Our South Bend, IN location is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of our copper and brass operations.

What You'll Do
- Interface with all branches to address internal and external quality issues.
- Maintain quality charts, reports, and facilitate rapid root-cause investigations.
- Drive Continuous Improvement projects to reduce quality escapes across sites.
- Partner with branch Quality Leadership to ensure customer metrics are met.
- Support root cause, corrective action, and process improvement initiatives.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (required under ITAR regulations).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing and quality control methods.
- Strong skills in root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to read technical prints/drawings; knowledge of inspection processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Six Sigma Greenbelt, AS9100 auditor certification (or ability to obtain), aerospace background, CNC/Mfg experience, CMM, FAI, PPAP, 8D problem solving.

Job Compensation
$70K - $85k + Monthly Gainshare Incentive
