Job Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
-
Get an in-depth understanding of the Fusion application and the service products, their architecture, and the cloud deployment architecture.
-
Design and develop comprehensive benchmarks to simulate real customer workloads to evaluate the performance, scalability, and reliability of the products, and propose KPI metrics.
-
Analyze and troubleshoot performance and scalability issues in software applications and systems, identify opportunities for optimization.
-
Work with multiple development teams to optimize the products.
Qualifications:
-
BS or above in Engineering or computer Science
-
7+ years of Java / python software engineering or related experience.
-
Experience with SQL and Oracle RDBMS.
-
Experience with Linux/Unix operating system.
-
Excellent analysis, problem troubleshooting and solving skills.
-
Self-motivated to take initiative in solving difficult problems.
-
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Nice to have experience:
-
Vector database expertise a big plus.
-
AI/ML, and prompt engineering experience a big plus.
-
Python and Linux scripting / profiling a big plus.
-
ADW experience a plus.
-
Analysis and identification of performance bottleneck in complicated cloud env.
-
Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure like compute, database, storage, networking, etc. a plus.
-
Oracle WebLogic Application server experience a plus.
-
Experience of using standard tools, like MAT, JProfiler, JDeveloper, etc., to investigate application and application server performance issues, and Database CPU, Memory, Response Time, and Network bottlenecks.

Hardware performance.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
