Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with no call or nights. 1 Weekend Per Month 8am-4:30pm for an 8 hour day. January- August 2026, with roughly 20 shifts per month
- Job Setting: Acute psychiatric unit/institute. Trauma Level 3
- Types of Cases: 16-18 patient encounters per shift. Clinical areas include anxiety disorders, affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, development disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders. Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application required. Treatment techniques include pharmacotherapy (required) and ECT (preferred)
- Credentialing: 60-90 days.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible Accepted but must obtain certification within 5 years of residency
- Certifications: BLS
- Licensure: Missouri state license or IMLC.
