Your Role on the Team

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform essential maintenance work in our single-family rental homes while providing exceptional service to our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing maintenance service requests in various trades.
• Delivering outstanding customer service to enhance residents' living experiences.
• Conducting proactive maintenance through regular ProCare visits in residents' homes.
• Educating residents on maintenance topics to promote understanding.
• Assessing property conditions during visits and notifying management of urgent issues.
• Analyzing Technician-specific reports for improvement opportunities.
• Executing repairs in vacant properties during the marketing phase or turn process.
• Properly managing and maintaining company tools, materials, and vehicle.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Your Experience Includes

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification required (new hires will have 90 days to complete if not already certified).
• Proven background in residential repairs, maintenance, or related fields.
• Understanding of residential building systems with ability to perform general repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC (minor), and appliances. Training will be offered.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; multi-lingual abilities are a plus.
• Comfort with using mobile devices and relevant applications.
• A valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and other necessary licenses/certifications as per state law.
• Preferred certifications include EPA Certification (Type I and II), HVAC Certification, and CPO certification (pool).
• Ability to work consistently with flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed.
• Possession of basic hand and power tools.
• Capacity to perform tasks that may involve frequent physical activities such as climbing, reaching, and lifting over 50 pounds.
• May require attendance at eviction-related activities alongside law enforcement.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $19.11 - $33.13, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, based on skills and experience.
