Responsibilities
- Perform rapid and effective diagnosis and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical (up to 480V, 3-phase), and hydraulic systems on all production machinery, including complex manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Maintain, repair, and overhaul a wide variety of equipment, including: Blister machines, bottle fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, stretch wrappers, mixers, blenders, granulation equipment, tablet presses, coaters, and fluid bed dryers.
- Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks, calibrations, and inspections according to work orders and SOPs to prevent unplanned downtime. Document all corrective maintenance actions accurately.
- Ensure all maintenance, repair, and lubrication activities strictly comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation requirements, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a validated environment.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work performed, time spent, parts used, and equipment history. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
- Assist with minor facility repairs and utility systems maintenance (e.g., HVAC, compressed air, water systems) as needed.
- Adhere to all plant safety rules, including rigorous use of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, confined space entry, and proper handling of tools and heavy equipment.
