Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Job Details: 13-week contract assignment Work in ER, inpatient, and outpatient units Level 2 trauma center experience Hospital experience required 2 years of CT experience required Must have experience with GE and Phillips equipment Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations Review clinical data on requisitions and perform appropriate examinations Analyze anatomical structure of patients and set up equipment to perform CT scans Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors and monitor patients for reactions Prepare and set up sterile equipment, monitors, and supplies for procedures Assist radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies Follow radiation protection principles including patient shielding and ALARA techniques Complete PACS image delivery and resolve image exceptions Complete study indexing in Radiology Information System Required certifications: ARRT (CT) and BLS High School Diploma or GED required Must maintain required hours of continued medical education Interview required with manager calling candidates directly Facility: This healthcare system operates a comprehensive medical facility featuring advanced imaging capabilities and emergency services.
