Overview:
Are you a dynamic sales professional with robust relationships within hospital networks and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through innovative respiratory solutions? VieMed, a leader in respiratory care, is seeking a highly motivated Respiratory Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This primarily field-based role involves extensive local travel (80%+), offering a rewarding opportunity to influence respiratory disease management and contribute to patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage and expand existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other healthcare referral sources to increase patient referrals.
- Promote VieMed's comprehensive home ventilation and disease management programs through targeted clinical presentations, educational sessions, and collaborative partnerships with healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass territory growth objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operations, to ensure smooth patient transitions from hospital to home care settings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of account activity, referral pipelines, sales metrics, and clinical interactions in CRM systems.
- Demonstrate proactive engagement, professionalism, and resilience in a fast-paced healthcare sales environment.
- Proven established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or Respiratory Therapy departments (required).
- Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) (required).
- Demonstrated ability to navigate hospital environments, influence clinical decision-makers, and facilitate referral growth.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful healthcare sales experience, preferably within respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH), or critical care settings.
- Formal sales training and/or clinical experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
