Project Manager
Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

  • Evaluate site conditions, potential risks, and cost impacts to develop accurate pricing.

  • Prepare detailed estimates for labor, equipment, and materials based on conceptual and schematic designs.

  • Independently complete full project take offs and estimates using HCSS or comparable estimating software.

  • Meet all bid deadlines and ensure take offs and pricing are completed ahead of submission dates.

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of construction methods, assemblies, and project phases.

  • Monitor daily project activities to ensure adherence to budgets, quality expectations, and safety standards.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules.

  • Conduct site visits to verify manpower levels, production quantities, and overall work quality.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance

  • Experience in estimating and/or project management is ideal; equivalent education and experience will be considered.

  • Background in heavy highway, or general civil construction projects is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with construction processes, assemblies, and project lifecycles.

  • Proficiency with HCSS or similar estimating software is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
