The Integrated Communications team acts as a trusted advisor to our business leaders and associates, collaborating to provide essential information and tools to Genworth associates, distributors, policyholders, and the media.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Change Management to spearhead enterprise change initiatives that align with Genworth and CareScout's strategic vision. This role is designed for a results-driven professional who can enhance our change enablement capabilities, oversee transformation projects, manage associate impacts, and work closely with the Integrated Communications team, Talent Development team, and project management offices to ensure the effective execution of major organizational changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, human-centered change management framework that supports our associates, customers, and partners.
  • Collaborate across executive leadership, operational teams, and stakeholders to design and execute change strategies for significant initiatives.
  • Create training and enablement plans for associate-facing technologies and projects alongside the Talent Development and Integrated Communications teams.
  • Establish consistent methods for measuring and reporting change readiness, adoption metrics, and the business impacts of change initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and resistance associated with organizational change.
  • Build and lead a network of change agents throughout the organization to expand change management practices.
  • Work with various teams to align change communications with overarching organizational messaging.
  • Engage with executive leadership to gain early support for transformation initiatives.
  • Provide strategic counsel to the Executive Council regarding complex organizational changes, including implementation strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in change management or transformation, with a preference for experience in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business, HR, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Preferred certification in change management methodologies such as PROSCI, ADKAR, or CCMP.
  • Proven success in building change management frameworks for cultural and technological shifts.
  • Experience fostering change management capabilities within complex organizations.
  • Ability to effectively connect and influence executives.
  • Skilled in optimizing change strategies for the customer and associate experience.
  • Extensive experience using technology to enhance change management efforts at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
