Senior Solutions Architect, Strategic Accounts

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Solutions Architect, where you will partner with some of our most iconic customers to design innovative cloud architectures that accelerate product launches and optimize application performance, leveraging advanced cloud technologies in AI/ML and application modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture lasting relationships with customers to enhance their architectural strategies.
  • Engage with executive leaders (CIO, CTO, CISO) and enterprise architects to understand and address their business challenges.
  • Oversee and strengthen the technical relationship between customers and AWS, advocating for best practices in AI/ML, reliability, security, and cost management.
  • Transform customer needs into a comprehensive technology vision and actionable transformation plans.
  • Collaborate on and implement sales strategies aimed at exceeding revenue targets through the adoption of AWS technologies.
  • Represent AWS at industry events, meetups, and summits, promoting our technology strategy.
  • Produce customer-facing documentation including solutions, blog posts, and white papers.
  • Collaborate effectively with AWS service teams, marketing, and professional services to drive customer success.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel approximately 15-30% to customer sites.
  • 8+ years of experience in technology areas such as software development, cloud computing, or data analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years in IT development or consulting, particularly within the software or internet sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and database architecture.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems such as S/4HANA and their architectural requirements.
  • Experience engaging with end-users and developer communities.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 to $239,000 annually, depending on geographic market. Additional equity, sign-on bonuses, and benefits are also offered as part of the comprehensive compensation package.
