Job Description

In a Pest Control Technician position, you will have a daily route where you will service and treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations.

Once your training is completed, you will receive a company vehicle to take home along with being provided a fuel card while running a route.

What to Expect

You will be treating approximately 10 to 12 homes per day. Routes are created for you daily and we try to keep you with the same customers for all their services. You will be responsible for ensuring that your routes are completed daily and that you continue to build relationships with your customers.

You will be inspecting homes to find any points of entry for insects and rodents, will perform pest control treatments, and help come up with any additional solutions to keep our customers pest-free. You will work with environmentally responsible products.

You will occasionally be required to go to our warehouse located in Salt Lake City, UT for meetings, training, restocking of supplies, etc.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1+ year(s) customer service experience
  • 1+ year(s) sales experience
  • 1+ year(s) pest control experience
  • Experience working in attics
  • Comfortable in attics and crawlspaces
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Requirements

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • You must have a current valid driver's license.
  • You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • You must be clean-shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator).
  • You must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.
