As an MRI Technologist, you will perform routine and advanced magnetic resonance imaging to assist in diagnosing various conditions. You will work closely with Radiologists to present comprehensive imaging results and ensure optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI exams with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Adhere to all MRI safety standards and complete pre-exam questionnaires.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, addressing any concerns and providing reassurance.
• Maintain and manage MRI equipment and supplies for quality care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality control.
• Familiarize yourself with MR anesthesia equipment operation.
• Work independently with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.

MRSO Specific Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient safety by adhering to established MR policies and protocols.
• Develop and deliver MR safety training for all relevant staff.
• Provide expert advice on engineering and scientific aspects of MR safety, especially regarding the testing of new installations and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
• ARRT MR certification required upon hire.
• MRSO certification required within six (6) months of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of three (3) years of MRI experience is required.
• On-call duties with the ability to respond within one hour of call back.
