American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Job Details

• Work in a short term acute care facility within the outpatient physical therapy department,
• One-on-one patient care model ensures personalized treatment and attention,
• Day shift schedule of 5x8 hour shifts, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with block scheduling,
• No nights, weekends, on-call, or floating between units required,
• Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required,

Job Requirements

• Valid state license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable,
• At least 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required,
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in comparable settings,
• Experience with the Epic EMR system is required,
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignments,

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Must commit to working at least 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day,
• All required time off or special scheduling requests must be submitted up-front; additional requests after acceptance may not be approved,
• Scrubs are required; navy blue for RNs and any color for registered respiratory therapists,
• Travelers may be required to float to nearby sister facilities if needed,
• Returning staff may apply if 3 months have passed since last employment,
• Annual and pre-start online modules must be completed before starting assignment,
