We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Neurological Physician Assistant for a 56-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 12, 2026, with a 7a-7p or 7p-7a schedule, operating on a 7 on, 7 off rotation. The assignment features multiple scheduled blocks through April, making it an ideal fit for Physician Assistants with at least two years of experience in neurological surgery.

- Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a, 7 on/7 off blocks including Jan 12-Jan 18, Jan 26-Feb 1, Feb 9-Feb 15, Feb 23-Mar 1, Mar 9-Mar 15, Mar 23-Mar 29, Apr 6-Apr 12, Apr 20-Apr 26
- Provide clinical support in neurological surgery cases
- Conduct pre- and post-operative patient assessments
- Assist in surgical procedures as directed by attending surgeons
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient interactions using the Epic EMR system
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- North Carolina license required
- Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Gerontology (ACCNS-AG) board certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system preferred
