Dive into Your Daily Duties:
  • Assisting in surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room
  • Upholding sterile fields and strictly following infection control guidelines
  • Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants
  • Overseeing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures
  • Monitoring supplies to ensure operational readiness for every surgery
  • Partnering with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to deliver seamless patient care
  • Accurately maintaining surgical counts and related documentation
Education and Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Essential Certifications:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential
  • BLS certification (or the ability to achieve it within 90 days of hire)
Key Attributes and Skills:
  • Familiarity with surgical instruments and procedural nuances across various specialties
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and cater to the surgical team's needs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Competency in aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment
