We are seeking entrepreneurial engineers eager to contribute to our expanding engineering team. Our engineers are adaptable team players who enjoy collaboration but are also comfortable managing independent projects. With a fast-paced environment that enables the release of new software every week, our team collaborates closely with design and customer-facing teams to create delightful experiences for our customers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you bring substantial industry experience and a proven record of success. You are equipped to take full ownership of complex, high-stakes projects, making key architectural decisions and backing them with thorough research. You understand the repercussions of your decisions and are skilled at resolving issues when they arise. Furthermore, you enjoy mentoring and supporting less experienced developers and thrive in varied team environments.

• You will focus on developing web technologies across both frontend and backend. Your work will include enhancing and expanding our core web applications, integrating diverse software, managing payment-processing systems, and implementing exciting new features.
• As a generalist engineer, your responsibilities will flexibly adjust based on both company needs and your unique skills and interests.

• Your experience includes at least 5 years of strong full-stack web development.
• You have a good product sense, attention to detail, and a passion for the impact of the software you create.
• You have taken on architectural responsibilities for large-scale projects.
• You are experienced in mentoring junior developers.
• You have collaborated on multiple engineering teams, ranging from small to large.

We embrace a remote-first development culture that values flexibility in how our teams operate. While we fully support remote roles, we also maintain offices in Austin and San Francisco, offering a hybrid option for those who prefer in-person collaboration.

This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $180,000 to $210,000, in addition to a comprehensive equity and benefits package. (Salary will be determined based on relevant experience, location, knowledge, skills of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
