IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) under the direction of the IT Manager, Solutions is a highly skilled IT professional supporting Technology integrations for the Region. The BRM is responsible for developing strong relationships to ensure proper alignment and integration. The BRM requires the ability to escalate and prioritize issues effectively, influence to adopt best business practices for technology and collaborate with internal teams to implement enhancements and deliver effective training programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain a functional understanding of all IT solutions provided by clients.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and updates within the automotive industry.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with leadership to understand their unique IT needs.
- Forge a strong partnership with Field Operations.
- Act as a key contact regarding IT solutions and services.
- Ability to problem solve with based on available technology configuration and unique business processes.
- Identify, escalate, and prioritize IT issues impacting, ensuring timely resolution by collaborating with teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and provide status updates.
- Collaborate with Field operations to develop and deliver effective training programs on new technologies and launches.
- Ensure are well-prepared and trained to maximize the benefits of new IT solutions.
- Inform and collaborate with to implement best business practices for technology.
- Provide guidance and support to in optimizing their use of IT solutions for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Solicit and compile feedback from to continuously improve Technology solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to recommend and prioritize enhancements that align with needs and improve customer experience.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; plus 5-8 years of experience in Computer Science, MIS, or other business discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT solutions, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to analyze and prioritize issues, providing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and guide stakeholders towards best business practices.
- Familiarity with IT solutions is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills; promoting healthy relationships and team dynamics.
- Strong capability to plan and align work with regards to a sense of urgency and priority.
- Strong capability to provide Business Insight.
- Strong ability to influence organizational stakeholders.
- A problem-solving attitude that can adapt to varying timelines.
