And this position is eligible for NRECA's hybrid schedule which allows flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per/week.

What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary contact for member inquiries via phone, email, fax, and written correspondence
- Make outbound calls to members and providers as needed
- Ensure claims are processed accurately and in accordance with policy provisions
- Investigate and analyze medical, dental, and vision claims

What You'll Bring
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
- Medical office experience including reception work with exposure to the billing of medical claims and/or verifying medical benefits with insurance companies.
- Strong telephone customer service and communication skills
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and navigating computer systems
- Ability to multitask and meet quality and production goals
- Willingness to earn a medical terminology certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to report to the office when required.
- Position is eligible for the hybrid schedule which allows flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per/week.
- Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional Saturday hours may be required
- Note: 100% remote work is not available
- This position primarily involves sedentary work, requiring the employee to sit for extended periods.
- Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer screen, reading, and analyzing data.
- Requires manual dexterity for frequent use of a keyboard and other office equipment.
- Occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds) may be required, such as handling files or office supplies.
- The employee must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
