Key Responsibilities
- Lead Projects from A-Z: Oversee all phases from permitting to punch list.
- Manage Execution: Coordinate subcontractors, designers, architects, and suppliers.
- Budget & Schedule Mastery: Track labor, materials, and production to keep jobs on track.
- Field Oversight: Conduct regular job site visits for progress, safety, and quality control.
- Client Liaison: Communicate proactively with homeowners to build trust and transparency.
- Trade Partner Management: Develop high-performing relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and resolve potential issues before they affect timelines.
- Systems Proficiency: Use Buildertrend (or similar software) to track all project activities.
- 5+ years of project management experience in landscape, pool, or high-end residential construction.
- Expertise in running design-build projects from $250K to $2M+.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coastal permitting in San Diego.
- Proficiency in Buildertrend, Procore, or similar PM software.
- Skilled in managing subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.
- Strong communication, client service, and leadership skills.
- Organized, decisive, and quality-focused under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED required; higher education or certifications a plus.
