Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking a Medical Lab Technician in Cleveland, OH In this role, the Medical Lab Technician will perform high and moderate complexity testing of Urine samples. Demonstrates clear communication with team members to optimize specific research study operations.

Must-Haves:

  • Associate's Degree in medical laboratory technology or in biological, chemical science (Required)
  • Medical Lab Technician (MLT- ASCP) (Required)
  • Medical Lab Technician (MLT - ASCP) or equivalent certification (Required within 1 year)
  • Specific CLIA '88 to perform complexity testing (Required)
Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes for research laboratory testing
  • Maintain research laboratory equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions
  • Perform and evaluate all required quality control assessments as described in the Study protocol and lab manual
  • Evaluate results of research tests according to research protocols to ensure quality
  • Record research results in the appropriate locations
  • Document all research activities according to policies and procedures
  • Maintain and demonstrate competency assessment in assigned areas
  • Complete all assigned research assignments within the allowed timelines
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all policies and standards and policies and procedures for Clinical Research
  • Abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our research subjects
Education:
  • Associate's Degree in medical laboratory technology or in biological, chemical science (Required)
  • Medical Lab Technician (MLT- ASCP) (Required)
  • Medical Lab Technician (MLT - ASCP) or equivalent certification (Required within 1 year)
  • Specific CLIA '88 to perform complexity testing (Required)
Skills and Abilities:
  • Thorough knowledge of testing procedures and quality standards (Required proficiency)
  • Basic computer skills (Required proficiency)
