Compensation: $38 hourly

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked

Location: Spanaway, WA

Shift: Monday to Friday 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.

  • Maintain and repair all fleet vehicles within assigned Primo Water North America locations.

  • Respond to field service calls for maintenance needs.

  • Order mechanical components, parts, and services while maintaining inventory.

  • Document all phases of vehicle maintenance and repair, including diagnostics.

  • Communicate effectively with drivers and management regarding vehicle maintenance and service.

  • Maintain detailed unit history files for each vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Experience with diesel and propane vehicles, including air brake systems, preferably with heavy-duty vehicles.

  • Familiarity with engine and chassis diagnostic software.

  • Commitment to safe work practices and quality execution of duties with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to accurately record and document all maintenance activities.

  • Experience using fleet software for maintenance tracking, including work orders and inventory management.

  • Knowledge of Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and US DOT requirements for commercial vehicles.

  • Ability to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Must have a personal set of tools.

  • Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) driver qualification policy requirements.

  • CDL preferred; must be able to obtain within six (6) months of entering the position (CDL may be required in some locations).
