Job SummaryServes as a dedicated and compassionate Patient Navigator to support the delivery of an evidence-based intervention for people living with HIV. Works closely with the research team and community partner staff to recruit and enroll participants, deliver peer navigation services in both English and Spanish, and support participants in accessing medical and social services. Collaborates with the Project Coordinator to document all navigation activities and assist with other research-related tasks as needed.
- Assist with participant recruitment, screening, and enrollment at the community partner site.
- Build trust and rapport with participants to support their ongoing engagement in the project.
- Follows the study's patient navigation intervention guidelines and uses intervention materials to provide HIV-related education to participants.
- Conducts study activities in both English and Spanish, ensuring materials and interactions are accessible and culturally relevant.
- Supports participants in coordinating their HIV care with their community partner medical and case management team.
- Maintains accurate documentation of participant interactions, services delivered, and study data in accordance with research protocols..
- Supports the Project Coordinator with research-related activities, including scheduling participant visits, distributing incentives, and attending research team meetings.
- Collaborates closely with the research team and community partner staff to coordinate participant visits and follow-ups.
- Follows study protocols, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience.
- Experience as a patient navigator with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and retaining participants in clinical trials or community-based research.
- Bilingual
- Familiarity with HIV prevention, care, or support services preferred.
- Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office, email, data entry tools).

Begin time: 8:30 AM
End time: 5:00 PM
