TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a certified and knowledgeable Nuclear Medicine Tech to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. The Nuclear Medicine Tech will work closely with physicians to obtain precise imaging and provide high-quality patient care while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and radiation regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and related imaging equipment.
- Monitor and assess patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Follow all protocols for radiation protection, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform equipment checks and quality control tests as required.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to interpret and deliver diagnostic results.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Current CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required.
- State licensure as applicable.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred.
- Thorough understanding of radiopharmaceutical preparation, imaging protocols, and safety standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills.
