About BioLife Plasma Services:
Our plasma donation centers are places where donations turn into life-changing medicines. As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will be at the forefront of this mission, ensuring donor eligibility and safety with compassion and professionalism.
In this role, you will:
- Determine donor eligibility through comprehensive medical history interviews and physical examinations.
- Manage donor reactions and provide immediate care according to our established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Review laboratory test results and communicate findings to donors, ensuring their health and safety are prioritized.
- Support clinical programs related to employee health and vaccinations.
- Collaborate closely with the Center Manager and Physician for medical guidance and operational needs.
What you bring to Takeda:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current LPN or LVN license in your state.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting (minimum two years).
- Successful completion of training as required by BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
