Part Time Career Coach
Purpose
To assist Northeastern High School and Middle Schools with providing career exploration and instruction to students.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the team to educate students on future careers.
- Organize career speakers and or field trips.
- Instruction on career and education fields and options.
- Make community connections for career exploration or employment.
- Organize internships, apprenticeships, etc.
- Celebrate accomplishments with students who complete internships or certifications.
- Assist with data analysis.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the district coordinator may deem necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with and deescalate various learners.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare materials.
