Schedule

Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend floating required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU RN for a travel position in Eastern New Mexico. The role involves working in both ICU and Stepdown units, with some Medical-Surgical overflow. The unit consists of 16 beds, and the patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2 or 1:3.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications required.
  • Active nursing license in the state of New Mexico.
