Summary

'Universal Logistics Holdings Inc.' is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in the US. This vital role involves managing the receipt and dispatch of goods at our warehouse, ensuring smooth operations that support our company's commitment to excellence in logistics services.
Responsibilities

'Universal Logistics Holdings Inc.' is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk responsible for:

  • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy and timeliness
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks safely
  • Managing shipping documentation and inventory records
  • Ensuring proper packaging and labeling of goods
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Collaborating with team members to optimize workflow
  • Assisting with inventory counts and stock replenishment
  • Supporting overall warehouse operations to meet company standards
Qualifications

Mandatory skills include:
  • Forklift operation certification
  • Experience with warehouse management systems
  • Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes
  • Ability to operate reach trucks and pallet jacks safely
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Experience with order picking and packing
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and basic math skills
  • Knowledge of load & unload procedures and warehouse safety protocols
