As a Senior Software Engineer - Product Development, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and scaling cutting-edge AI systems that are crucial to this transformation. You will work across the entire technology stack, taking ownership from MVP development to scaling, and will create impactful features that empower brokers to serve their clients more efficiently.
This role is perfect for engineers who thrive on building quickly, tackling complex technical challenges, and seeing the direct impact of their work on user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Develop full-spectrum product features across both frontend and backend environments
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested TypeScript code (experience in Python is a bonus)
- Debug and optimize performance and reliability across the stack
- Balance user needs with technical constraints and business objectives when prioritizing features
- Collaborate closely with founders, PMs, and designers to deliver user-centric products
- Deliver rapid iterations and frequent releases - transitioning swiftly from prototype to production
- Take ownership of product outcomes: from collecting user feedback to launching meaningful updates
What We're Looking For
- 4-8 years of software engineering experience, preferably in VC-backed startups (Seed-Series E)
- Strong expertise in TypeScript; knowledge of Python is advantageous
- Demonstrated success in launching user-centric, scalable products
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills across various teams
- Product-oriented mindset with a passion for user experience and clean code
- Able to navigate ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Must be willing to work on-site in San Francisco, 5 days per week
