Radiologic Technologist

Overview
• Shift: Friday to Sunday Night Shift Hours (9p-7a) with On-Call and Holiday Rotation

Requirements
• License: ARRT Radiography registration, IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation (Compact: Not applicable)
• Certs: CPR or BLS certification within 90 days
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required
• EMR: Not specified
• Compliance: Not specified
• Locals: Not specified
• RTO Policy: Not specified

Responsibilities
• Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Reviews patients clinical history ensuring that appropriate order placed and labs are within range as needed- reviewing with radiologist as necessary.
• Provides patient education.
• Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
• Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
• Initiates basic life support when necessary.
