Your Responsibilities
- Executing detailed patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
- Evaluating and managing acute and chronic conditions, in conjunction with physician colleagues or autonomously based on your licenses
- Instructing patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management practices
- Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practicing authority
- Engaging in continuous patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic care
- Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of South Dakota
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain within 90 days)
- Robust clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to patient interactions
- Exceptional communication proficiency with diverse patient populations and collaborative teams

- Familiarity with EMR systems and adeptness in telehealth technology
