Driver - Eau Claire WI

Job Summary:
Safely operate commercial motor vehicles, forklifts, and other material handling and packaging equipment in accomplishing the preparation for shipping and delivery of printed materials.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload and transport cargo to and from specified destinations.
- Verify load to ensure conformance with shipping documents and to see that load is secure and evenly distributed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuel trucks and report any problems to the supervisor.
- Perform minor emergency repairs as necessary.
- Comply with all DOT standards and regulations, including hours of service logs, and driver's vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Assume responsibility for company credit cards and submit timely reports.
- When not transporting cargo, assist in pulling and preparing orders for shipment, unloading trucks, working in the mailroom, staging and stocking incoming materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the cab interior, cargo area, windows and mirrors of trucks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of your assigned 5S area.
- Submit all documentation to the Transportation Manager within the specified time.
- Make periodic overnight deliveries.
- Comply with periodic schedule rotation.
- Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.
- $20-$22 per hour
