Position Summary:

As an essential member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the complete and efficient installation of residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories. Your role includes communicating with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure complete satisfaction. You will also promote our products and services, train fellow installers, and assist in site supervision and work planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC equipment and accessories following company requirements and manufacturer specifications, under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.
• Perform limited diagnostics, design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Conduct system start-ups for air conditioning and heating systems and components.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Promote products and services and report replacement sales leads to the Sales and Service Coordinator.
• Manage the delivery and removal of equipment required for installations.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of company property, vehicles, and tools.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly, collecting payment from customers as needed.
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized installation vehicle, reflecting the company's professional image.
• Assist with site supervision, planning, estimating, and conducting quality audits on installations.
• Train fellow installers in technical skills and company procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Health & Safety Roles and Responsibilities:

• Immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions, or hazards to your supervisor.
• Address any compliance issues with legislation or company policies to your supervisor.
• Correct any substandard acts or conditions under your control.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined by company procedures.
• Comply with safety regulations and avoid removing safety guards or devices.
• Participate in safety initiatives and report any injuries or incidents without delay.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of HVAC experience and technical training certification.
• Valid licensing or certification as required by local laws.
• EPA and safety certifications up-to-date.
• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC equipment.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and experience using various tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Effective organizational and time-management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Available for flexible hours and on-call shifts as necessary.
• Physically capable of working in diverse conditions and performing tasks involving climbing and lifting up to 75 pounds.
