Schedule: Full-time, 5x8 per week

How you'll contribute

A Ultrasound Technicianwho excels in this role provides quality ultrasound studies to include abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvis, breast, and testicular small parts for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness. Maintains appropriate files, supplies and equipment.

1. Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician delivery of care and services.
2. Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean and orderly work area. Notifies supervisor of needed items.
3. Maintains equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
4. Provides age appropriate care to all patients.
5. Acts as a physician/staff consultant and educational resource for appropriateness and accuracy of scans.

What we're looking for
Applicants should be a graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or School of Radiology (is are required qualifications). Additional requirements include:

1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
2. ARRT OR DMS Certification.
3. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
