Job Description

As the Lead Guest Services Team Member, your role involves processing merchandise and fuel transactions with a focus on delivering outstanding service. Essential responsibilities include:

  • Leading a shift of one to two cashiers to efficiently process cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Completing end-of-shift reports and closing out procedures accurately
  • Adhering to company and local guidelines regarding the sale of restricted merchandise (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
  • Maintaining an organized and clean work area to uphold quality standards
  • Utilizing suggested selling techniques to actively promote and sell products
  • Ensuring exceptional service is provided to every guest
  • Addressing guest complaints and issues following company procedures and guidelines; managing team member conflicts; and communicating effectively with management
  • Determining break schedules and team member assignments during shifts
  • Assisting with other travel center functions such as maintaining the deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking items, and making coffee
  • Modeling behaviors that align with the company’s shared purpose, ensuring both guests and team members receive the highest level of support
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Pay Rates Starting between: $11.95 - $16.95 / hour
