About the Role

Richmond Health Care Center is seeking a dependable, highly organized Central Supply / Staffing Coordinator (CNA) to manage monthly schedules, handle call-offs in real time, support resident transports, and oversee daily supply ordering and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & On-Call: Build the monthly staffing schedule; answer the on-call phone for call-offs; secure timely replacements and communicate updates.

  • Central Supply: Order, receive, maintain inventory, and distribute supplies daily to units/residents; track usage and costs.

  • Resident Transport: Accompany/drive residents to appointments in the facility vehicle, ensuring safety and punctuality.

  • Team Support: Serve as the point of contact for scheduling; collaborate with leaders; provide CNA support as needed; complete accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas CNA certification (required).

  • Proven scheduling experience in a healthcare setting, including:

    • Completing a full monthly staffing schedule on deadline.

    • Answering the on-call phone and finding same-day/next-shift coverage for call-offs.

  • Valid drivers license & clean driving record (required) and ability to safely drive/accompany residents to appointments.

  • Central supply competency: placing orders, maintaining accurate inventory, and issuing supplies daily to units/residents.

  • Strong organization, follow-through, and calm problem-solving under pressure; clear, professional communication.

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (lift/push/pull ~40 lbs; prolonged standing/walking).
