At Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, we are looking for passionate and dedicated Surgical Technologists to be part of our remarkable Operating Room team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the largest hospitals in Wisconsin, where we deliver innovative care to patients in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

  • Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • Hours Per Week: 40

Your Role:

As a Surgical Technologist, you will be integral in ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment for optimal patient care. You will:

  • Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a sterile operating field and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
  • Transport patients, manage surgical instruments, and ensure environmental disinfection.
  • Function as a Second Assistant when needed and notify staff of equipment and supply issues.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • No prior experience required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
