Position Details:

  • Shift: Full-time, evening shifts, with the possibility of 8 or 10-hour shifts.
  • Location: Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215.
  • Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • Sign-On Bonuses: $10,000 eligible with distance-based relocation and $2,000 for PM shifts at ASLMC.
  • Hours Per Week: 40

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operating area for optimal patient care.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare materials and manage surgical equipment.
  • Assist the surgical team with various procedures and anticipate their needs.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the operating room, managing supplies and equipment.
  • Transport patients and equipment, performing patient positioning duties as required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of patient care across all ages and adapt to individual needs.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • No prior experience is necessary; we welcome new talent

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to various hazards including mechanical, electrical, and blood/bodily fluids.
  • Must have functional sight and hearing capabilities.
