POSITION SUMMARY:
As General Maintenance, you will be assisting the recycle or janitorial department. With the use of proper tools and machinery, you will oversee and ensure the area given is always clean and aligns with health and safety regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare proper equipment before starting assigned area.
  • Follow indications from Supervisor or Lead.
  • Consult any setback to Supervisor.
  • Ensure area is maintained clean and safe.
  • Follow health and safety regulations when using equipment and hazardous materials.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Aid other Maintenance Team Member when needed.
  • Ensure equipment and all material used is stored correctly.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • High School or equivalent preferred.
  • Teamwork oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet production standards.
  • Good attendance and punctual; must show up on time, work scheduled shifts, work mandatory overtime.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK CONDITIONS:
The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:
  • Requires the employee to stand for long periods of time
  • The work environment is that of a typical warehouse or distribution center. Noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
  • Frequent twisting, turning, reaching, pushing and pulling, handle tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Work is normally performed in a warehouse/production environment. As part of the job requirements, Team Members may be exposed to work in a production setting and extreme temperatures (10 to 100 degrees) at times. Facility regularly processes known food allergens, including peanuts. Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility. Schedule may include weekends and overtime.
