Junior C#/.NET Application Support Programmer

Location: Remote occasional meetings in Princeton, NJ
Salary Range: $60,000-$90,000 per year + bonus potential

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior C#/.NET Application Support Programmer to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of hands-on application support and software development. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to support internal and external client applications, run automated processes, develop new features, and provide SQL-based data extracts and reporting.

This is a remote position, with preference given to candidates located on the East Coast for time zone alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, maintenance, and bug fixes for existing applications
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support nightly automation processes
  • Execute ad-hoc and scheduled processes and generate SQL reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to onboard new clients and support system integrations
  • Develop and enhance new and existing applications using C# and ASP.NET
  • Maintain detailed documentation of code changes, SQL scripts, and workflows
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience developing and supporting C#/.NET applications
  • Experience with .NET Framework 4.0+, ASP.NET, and CSS
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle)
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries for reports and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio 2019 or 2022
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting production environments or application users
  • Exposure to agile or iterative development methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
