Job Summary and Qualifications- Participates in all aspects of the Occupational and Employee Health & Safety Program(s). Provides quality care to employees in accordance with corporate/hospital policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment
- Performs pre-employment screenings, annual health screenings and tests, and immunizations
- Serves as the initial source of medical evaluation and reporting for employee work-related illnesses and injuries and assigns employee to appropriate level of care. Provides consultation and first aid and schedules therapy, rehabilitation, and/or work restrictions as needed.
- Serves as case manager for work-related exposure, injury, or illness. Evaluates and investigates all incidents, coordinates medical interventions and work absence/light duty assignments, and conducts follow-up to determine appropriate resolution
- Promotes interdisciplinary approach for the identification, tracking, and resolution of employee health issues
- Maintains all logs, periodic reports, employee files, and databases
- Provides necessary employee health education on wellness initiatives, safe work practices, and occupational health programs
- Maintains all Work Comp and OSHA logs and any other regulatory reporting.
- Assumes accountability for promoting consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”
