Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

* Assesses, diagnoses, and provides care to Family Practice patients.
* Obtains detailed medical history, reviews medical records, and performs appropriate physical examination.
* Orders appropriate lab work and diagnostic imaging
* Performs basic FP procedures.
* Responds to phone messages from patients and nurse triage.
* Interprets and communicates lab results.
* Partners with patients to provide individualized and appropriate care plans.
* Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care team.
* Carefully completes all required documentation in a timely fashion.

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner functions as an important member of the healthcare team by providing care, comfort, and safety to our patients. Minnesota Women's Care is a private patient focused practice providing personalized, state-of-the-art medical care to women of all ages. Essential Functions and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience working as a NP in a clinical setting preferred.
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
* Current Minnesota RN and women's health nurse practitioner licensures and CPR certification.
* Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
* Strong charting/documentation skills.
* Commitment to excellence and high standards
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
* Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
