Job Description:
Lead data strategy and analytics for a mid-sized agency, ensuring the team delivers meaningful insights and optimizes client marketing efforts. Serve as the face of analytics, collaborating with leadership and driving strategic initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data strategies from start to finish.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of analysts and data engineers.
  • Provide hands-on support when needed, assisting with reports and insights.
  • Present complex data insights to clients in an easily digestible manner.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify areas for technological and strategic improvement.
  • Act as a key player in new business pitches and client engagements.
  • Partner with external vendors to enhance analytics capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Must-Haves:
    • 10+ years of experience in data strategy and analytics.
    • 5+ years of client-facing experience, including presenting technical insights.
    • Experience leading a team (6-10 members) in an agency environment.
    • Proficiency in Snowflake, Databricks, Rivery, Tableau/Sigma or comparable technologies.
    • Familiarity with GTM, GCM, AIS, and Meta analytics.
    • Strong marketing analytics background, specifically within agencies.
    • Ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Experience in mid-sized agencies with strong analytics case studies.
    • Proven success in identifying and implementing new data tools and partnerships.
