Tax Support Specialist

Location: Downtown Seattle
Schedule: Full-time, on-site | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (one-hour lunch)
Join our team as a Tax Support Specialist, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth tax administration processes. This position is focused on managing systems, documentation, and workflows-not preparing taxes. Precision, confidentiality, and adaptability are key.
Top Priorities (First 90 Days)
- Learn and navigate the tax system and internal processes quickly.
- Handle tax administration tasks such as processing paperwork, applying signature fields, and using internal platforms (e.g., Userverse).
- Support engagement letters and client outreach letters during peak season.
- Prepare and e-file tax returns; draft and distribute engagement letters.
- Oversee mailing, scanning, and document handling with accuracy.
- Deliver high-level administrative support to multiple leaders, including sensitive assignments.
- Create detailed reports using advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Drive process improvements and help train administrative team members.
- Collaborate across departments and respond to centralized administrative needs.
- Microsoft Office Suite (advanced proficiency required).
- DocuSign and internal systems for tax administration.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel expertise required).
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
