We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 11, 2025, for 11 days. This role involves both day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) shifts covering the Pediatric, OB, and ED floors. The ideal candidate will provide general pediatric hospitalist coverage and ensure quality inpatient care. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Dec 11, 2025 LOA: 11 days Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist Schedule: Dec 11 day shift Dec 15 day shift Dec 22 night Dec 23 night Dec 24 day, Dec 24 night Dec 25 day, Dec 25 night Dec 26 day, Dec 26 night Dec 27 night Day: 7a-7p; Night: 7p-7a Responsibilities and Duties Provide general pediatric hospitalist coverage for Pediatric, OB, and ED floors Manage inpatient pediatric cases and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams Respond to emergencies and provide acute care as required Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination Additional Information California medical license required Board certification in Pediatrics required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Experience with Epic EMR preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
